Varsovia, 2008.

Varsovia esta llena de floristerias o de gente que vende flores. En cubos, en cajas, en quioscos o en tiendas, pero las flores a los polacos son como los bares a los españoles.

No se aprecia en la foto, y es lo de menos, pero la floristeria que ya no lo es estaba ubicada en uno de los chiringitos que llenan las calles de la ciudad. Y es que Varsovia cuenta con un descomunal número de edificaciones de lo más variopintas para albergar mercados, tiendas, quioscos, etc… que están muy mal integradas dentro del conjunto de la ciudad. La razón es sencilla, cuando se planificó la ciudad no se pensó en la ciudad de libre mercado que es hoy donde la actividad comercial se desarrolla por su cuenta sin una planificación o control excesivo, y menos en el caso de la arquitectura dedicada a estos menesteres.

No hablaré de la convergencia de las verticales, pero sí del molesto reflejo en los cristales de la tienda que me van a hacer intentar repetir la toma.

Not shown in the photo, and it is not really that important, but this florist, that it is no longer, was located in one of the prefab structures that fill the city streets. Warsaw has a huge number of buildings to house the most varied markets, shops, kiosks, etc. … which by the way are very poorly integrated into the city. The reason is simple, when the city was planned it was not thought as the free market country capital city it is today where the commercial activity just happens on its own without too much planning or excessive control, and less in the case of architecture dedicated to such purposes.

I will not speak of the convergence of the vertical lines, but it’s annoying the reflection on the windows of the shop for what I will try to repeat the shot later.
